The US suspends visas for 75 countries. European countries are besides listed

The U.S. State Department announced that as of 21 January it would halt issuing and processing immigration visa applications from citizens of 75 countries. The decision was justified by the desire to prevent visitors from over-using benefits. Among the countries banned are Belarus, Russia or Brazil.
