Children's safety in the digital planet cannot be added, it must be the foundation," said the first woman of the Polish Republic Marta Nawrock at the White home at the summit on technology-based education. The gathering organized by Melanie Trump began with the robot's speech.
Marta Nawrocka performed alongside Melanie Trump on the second day of the summit "We train together the future" (Fostering the Future Together), focused on utilizing AI and another technologies in education. In her speech, she stressed that the choices of leaders depend on whether technologies will contribute to better education for children and whether they will equalize opportunities or increase inequalities.
She pointed out that an approach was needed to bring together children's education on the safe usage of technology, support for parents and teachers and responsibility, including for technology developers who "should take account of the welfare of the youngest at the phase of designing their solutions".
The first woman of the Polish Republic called for investments not only in technology, but besides in people, including teachers, and in learning critical reasoning and creativity among children.
– It depends on our decisions whether the digital planet will become a space of chance or a origin of fresh divisions for the young generation," she said.
