Iceland could end its accession talks with the EU in the "half of a year" and become the 28th associate State of the European Union - said the Minister of abroad Affairs of that country Þorgerður Katrín Gunnarsdóttir. In her opinion, it all depends on the result of the referendum on this issue, to resume the interrupted accession negotiations with the EU on 29 August.
