Ukrainians are tired of war – they want peace with Russia.

Breakthrough Social investigation Gallup in Ukraine. Already 52% of Ukrainians anticipate territorial concessions from the government in exchange for peace with Russia.

War is always terrible, and support for it falls all day. It is no different in the case of the Ukrainians, but present the support for peace talks has exceeded a crucial barrier. Only 38% of Ukrainian society expects a further fight "until victory". What is crucial and understandable, the most opposed to war are the inhabitants of the east front areas. The biggest support for the continuation of the war struggles prevails among residents of the best protected city in the country – Kiev.

Even among the number who wants to fight on, the definition of triumph changes. 2 years ago, for almost everyone, triumph meant the recovery of Crimea and Donbas, present 82% of those who supported the continuation of the war.

Ukraine suffered large losses, not only territorial but besides demographic, infrastructure, financial and social. Russia also, however, by the traditionally murderous nature of this country and its population and natural material potential, is little felt in them. Unfortunately, past has shown us that even the capture of Moscow does not gotta mean triumph over Russia.

Changing the attitude of Ukrainian society and changing administration in the White home could mean putting out the conflict behind our east border. The Ukrainian state's independent existence and Russia's global position have been maintained.

This is good news for both the Ukrainians and us. They can take care of rebuilding the country, and we can halt financing overgrown socialism for their citizens and focus on their own defence needs.
