Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky has entrusted Rustem Umerov with the leadership of the abroad Intelligence Service of Ukraine (SZRU). At the same time, the current secretary of the National safety and Defence Council will stay liable for conducting Ukrainian peace talks with Russia.
