Judge Przemysław Dziwański, who was part of the ruling panel on the arrest of PiS MP Marcin Romanowski, was targeted. Last week, it was announced that the ruling lineup would be extended to 3 judges, to whom outside Dziwanski were joined by justice Alexander Rusin-Batko and justice Wanda Jankowska-Bebeszko. On Friday, Rusin-Batko applied for her exclusion from the squad, and it was announced on Monday that she and Dziwanski were both excluded from examining the case.

On Tuesday, Giertych announced that he had reported the Dziwański case to the deputy disciplinary officer at the Court of Appeal in Warsaw.

Rusin-Batko. Why is she off the case?

Press spokeswoman on criminal matters of the Warsaw territory Court, justice Anna Ptazek, recalled that justice Aleksandra Rusin-Batko applied for her exclusion due to erstwhile cooperation with Romanowski in the Ministry of Justice.
