Trump's making a deal with Xi. China will loosen exports of rare-earth metals, US will halt 100 percent duties

Representatives of the U.S. and China governments have negotiated an agreement to alleviate their trade conflicts. The settlement will enter into force if the presidents of both countries approve it at a gathering in South Korea on Thursday.
