The duties imposed by U.S. president Donald Trump became a "real gift" to Chinese president Xi Jinping due to the fact that they shaken global assurance in the credibility of the United States “ Wall Street diary reports.

Previously, Bloomberg reported that advanced duties on imports from China imposed by Trump could shortly lead to a shortage of goods in the US. According to the publication, the ‘tariff shock’ caused by Trump could ruin his second term. According to the Wall Street Journal, the voters chose Trump in part due to the fact that they "remember its economy in its first term", but in its second word it vents "its obsessions with trade and abroad policy", the first effects of which are negative.

"He (Trump – ed.) will neglect if he does not perceive to the warnings," concludes the publication.
