Contrary to earlier announcements, Donald Trump in Davos dismissed the threat of introducing duties to any European countries. In addition, the president of the United States reported that an agreement was reached in Greenland, from which "all will be pleased". This information resulted in the Wall Street stock exchanges ending the Wednesday session with growth. However, investors say plainly: with specified a large volatility on Donald Trump's side, the markets do not presume that his words will be put into practice.
