
Donald Trump gave Vladimir Putin an ultimatum. The U.S. president warned Russia that if no agreement with Ukraine is reached in the next 50 days, the United States will impose "repeat duties" on it. Trump besides announced that his country would send Kiev a weapon “for which Europeans will pay”. "We are very dissatisfied with Russia," stressed the leader of the United States.
Before the weekend, Donald Trump announced that on Monday (today, July 14th) he would issue a "important statement" on Russia. In between words, it was possible to sense that the leaders of the United States slow ran out of patience for the Kremlin. Just before the announcement was released to Washington, NATO chief Mark Rutte besides went.
On Monday afternoon Trump in company with Rutte announced in the Oval Office an ultimatum for Russia.
"We are very dissatisfied with Russia's actions, and we will impose very strict duties if there is no peace agreement within 50 days. These will be alleged 100 percent secondary duties," the president of the United States announced.
He added that he wanted to end the war for which the United States paid $350 billion. Trump here referred to the value of the aid that the U.S. was expected to supply to Ukraine. It has previously been proven to be overstated but Trump continues to mention it.
“We want this to end. It wasn't my war. It was Biden's war, and I'm trying to end it. I'm disappointed in president Putin. I thought that 2 months ago we could make a peace agreement, but it doesn't look like it," said the president of the United States.
Trump reported that Washington will hand over military equipment to Ukraine, for which European NATO members will pay. He stressed that the US produces "the best equipment in the planet and Europeans know it".
In the first batch of aid to Ukraine – already in the coming days – Patriot systems are to hit. NATO chief Mark Rutte announced that this was only the first tranche of fresh support for Kiev.
