What's up with the Council of Peace?

Recall: Donald Trump announced the establishment of the Peace Council on 15 January in Davos and presented it from the beginning as a tool to watch over the implementation of the 20-point peace plan prepared in the White House. The announcement shows that the Council is to execute respective roles simultaneously. Firstly, it is to oversee the implementation of the plan's findings, namely to check whether further points are being implemented and where delays or disputes arise.

The Council's mandate besides provides for the mobilisation of funds. The aim is to bring about specifics: who pays for what, what times and conditions, and then to guarantee that the announcements do not end at conferences and communications.

The last component is politically the most inflammatory. The Council is besides expected to settle disputes about Gaza's reconstruction and security, which is to enter into areas where the interests of the states collide, public force and questions about who is liable for safety and control of the reconstruction process.
