U.S. president Donald Trump accused Kiev of starting a conflict with Russia, in his opinion the origin of the conflict was the fact that Ukraine began to talk about joining NATO.
"I think the conflict started erstwhile they (Ukrainian authorities – ed.) started talking about joining NATO. If this issue had not been raised, there would have been a much better chance that it would not have started at all," Trump said in an interview with Time magazine.
