On Thursday morning on the national road S2 close Konotopa there was a fatal accident involving a bus and a truck. 5 people were killed as a consequence of the incidental and 3 were injured.
How did the accident happen?
A dramatic event occurred around 2:30 p.m. erstwhile a transportation bus for unexplained reasons hit a parked truck.
The General Directorate of National Roads and Highways reported that 5 people were killed as a consequence of the collision and 3 were injured. As reported by RMF FM, a rescue chopper landed on the site, which transported the victims to the hospital.
Road closure and rescue
The accident closed the S2 road towards Terespol. There were 20 firefighters on site who were helping victims.

"Tragic accident on S2 close Konotopa close Warsaw. Heading towards the capital bus InPost hit a parked TIR. There were 8 people on the bus, 5 were fatalities, 3 were injured. At the scene of the tragedy, 20 firefighters helped. Police explain the circumstances and find the causes of this tragedy."
The accident investigation is ongoing, and the police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
