Tomczak: Mainstream on the way of Polish onuc.

Why did the “rational” mainstream start sniffing out plots in search of “Russian onuc”? Are Polish conservatives fascinated by Russia or by imaginary right-wingists from mainstream pasteurs? Why does mainstream identify Putin with Dostoevsky and Slavephiles with KGB officers? Why does mainstream always presume Putin's crimes, and after the Smolensk disaster, he urgently acquitted him? – the conviction of his own moral superiority, the longing for “Europe” and the rooting up of the liberal worldview “elity”, which besides led to a change of approach to Russia.

As I tried to prove in the text which appeared in the erstwhile issue of “Polish Thought”, the attitude of liberal mainstream to Ukraine and Russia is only the consequence of 3 features consisting of the worldview of its representatives. These 3 features are: conviction of your own moral superiority, view of “Europe” and rooting out.
