On the another hand, it would be fair not to mask force against people deprived of freedom with high-volt phrases about “an unrelenting attitude towards criminals”. An "unrepentant attitude" would be reflected in the effectiveness of prosecution and the velocity of conviction, not in drowning and multiplying the number of suspects.
Of course, the affirming repressive variety of populism frequently pays off – a criminal is simply a social enemy moving on the border of reality and abstraction, which makes the actual problems caused by his presence emergence to the rank of caricaturally advanced threat, combining with the notorious media reports of his misdemeanors. If the law isn't just a tool in the hands of the sly hoochstaplers, Ziobro simply has to receive serious charges. He was not only a minister – a swordsman of 1 tribe, like Adam Bodnar or Waldemar Żurek.
Of course, he was, too. Note that Ziobra's people performed an efficient sociotechnical procedure – they covered the inscriptions “Home” and “independence” with the rations of the tribe fighting the second tribe.
