The president of the Constitutional Tribunal Bogdan Święczkowski and Mariusz Błaszczak from the Law and Justice Office met to talk about current challenges in the activities of the Constitutional Tribunal – we read in the Friday announcement of the Court. They declared to take action concerning the "undisturbed functioning" of the regulation of law in Poland, said the Constitutional Tribunal on Friday.
President Constitutional Court Bogdan Święczkowski met with Mariusz Błaszczak of Law and Justice – informed on Friday on the TK website.
According to the Court's communication, Świętczkowski discussed with Błaszczak "current challenges in the activities of the Constitutional Tribunal".

"Constitutional Court positions and the position of judges of the Constitutional Tribunal were besides mentioned during the discussion. president Mariusz Błaszczak negatively assessed attempts to interfere with independence the Constitutional Court and Limiting the backing of institutions by the current parliamentary majority", stressed.
After the meeting, the interlocutors declared “to take any action within the scope of their competences in order to operate in the Republic of Poland without disruption States of law and compliance with the Constitution‘.
The fresh TK president invites you to talk
Bogdan Święczkowski was appointed president of the Constitutional Tribunal in December. During the mediate of the month, he invited, among others, the Prime Minister, Speakers of the Sejm and the Senate, the First president of the ultimate Court, and the heads of political parties, to discuss the future of the TK.

– I would like to lead to a situation in which the functioning of the TK will be safe erstwhile it comes to the composition and budgeting of the TK – he said then.
So far, Świętczkowski has met, among others, the 1st president of SN Margaret of Manova. Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar stated in December that he did not see the space to talk about the TK with the fresh president.
