A section of the Vistula riverbed close Wadowice almost completely dried up a fewer days ago, and alarming photos have been circulating the web. The low water level was compounded by the renovation of the hydroelectric power plant and the deficiency of appropriate communication. Anglers fear "disruption of the biological balance of the river", and MP Daria Gosek-Popiołek writes in her intervention about "a catastrophe of the full ecosystem".
