New tariffs of 10 or 12.5 percent applicable to trade relations between the USA and 60 countries and groups of countries (including the EU) were announced by the US administration on July 23. They will replace the erstwhile global 10 percent tariff rate, introduced by the US administration and repealed by the ultimate Court.
