TEHERAN (Tasnim) – Iranian abroad Minister Abbas Araqchi, referring to attempts at mediation between Tehran and Washington in talks, said that the irrational and hegemonic approach of the United States met with a decisive consequence from Iran.
Speaking in the Kuluaras of the Iraqi Prime Minister's gathering with president Masud Pezeshkian in Tehran on Thursday, Abbas Araqchi drew attention to speculation on Iraq's mediation between Iran and the United States following a fresh visit by the Iraqi Prime Minister in Washington.
"Now we have no problem with mediation with the United States. The problem is the kind of American approach that is irrational (including exorbitant demands) and hegemonic, and which faced the authoritarian consequence of the muslim Republic of Iran," he said.
‘Until they (Americans) realize that there is no another way than to respect the Iranian people and respect their interests, naturally there will be no basis to follow in this direction (resumption of talks)," he said.
Arakchi added that this issue does not require a message or an answer, and the Americans just request to reconsider their policy.
On February 28, the United States and the Israeli government launched an illegal aggression war against Iran. However, forty days later, on April 8, enemies were forced to accept the ceasefire in the face of Iran's courageous opposition and successful retaliatory operations.
On June 17, Tehran and Washington signed the Pakistan Memorandum of knowing (MoU) to complete any war effort and prepare for further negotiations.
However, later Washington broke all the provisions of the agreement, prompting Iran to respond decisively by attacking US bases and assets in the region with rockets and drones.
Iran will not let oil to be exported through the Ormuz Strait if the US responds to threats
TEHERAN (Tasnim) – Iranian armed forces will not let the export of even drops of oil through the Strait of Ormuz if the US threatens to attack Iranian infrastructure, warned Central Command Chatam al-Anbia.
"The criminal and murderous American president again threatened Iran with an attack on the country's infrastructure," declared the highest military command in a Thursday statement.
"If the US threats are realised, the armed forces of the muslim Republic of Iran will not let the export of even a drop of oil, and the oil, gas, energy and economical infrastructure of the region will be the mark of the attack", stressed.
The message added that the repeated threats from criminal America and the terrorist army of this country would not have any effect another than the spread of war in the region or even beyond.
It has besides been stressed that the Ormuz Strait remains closed, and if the ship is to cross the Strait, it must do so only by a designated way and according to previously announced arrangements.
On Wednesday, a military origin informed the agency Tasnim that Iran would respond to the attack on any bridge or power station, attacking respective infrastructure and power plants in the region.
Earlier that day U.S. president Donald Trump threatened on social media that all time Iran attacked a ship in the Strait of Ormuz, "United States bomb and destruct 1 bridge or power station (in Iran)".
A tanker attempting to illegally sail the Strait of Ormuz caught fire
TEHERAN (Tasnim) – 1 of the 3 tankers who tried to cross a dangerous way in the Strait of Ormuz, caught fire and the another 2 turned around, reported the muslim Revolutionary defender Corps (IRGC).
"Three tankers, provoked and lured by an American army that kills children, intended to sail a mined way south of the Strait of Ormuz. After the detonation and a serious fire in 1 of them, the another 2 rapidly turned back and returned," the muslim Revolutionary defender Corps (IRGC) reported in a message released on Thursday morning.
"The powerful Navy of the muslim Revolutionary defender Corps (IRGC) emphasizes that the Strait of Ormuz is under our control and is completely closed until the evil of the United States in the region persists, and that no tanker will enter or come out, and any ship that will be deceived by the United States and intends to sail without agreement with the muslim Republic of Iran will encounter the same fate," says the statement.
"We inform the aggressor and America, who kills children to halt hostile actions in this delicate region, (i) has stopped exposing merchant ships and playing with planet energy security".
The IRGC warned the U.S. of the request to halt interventions that have no effect beyond the energy crisis and the decline in the supply of agricultural fertilizers worldwide.
"These vile deeds will not have any effect on you but the greater shame and irreparable defeat you will shortly experience."
IRGC added: "With God's help, a criminal operation will be carried out for this violation you committed."
Iran and the United States signed a memorandum of agreement last period to end the cycle triggered by the fresh wave of unprovoked American-Israeli aggression against the muslim Republic, which began on 28 February.
Under the agreement Iran agreed to let free sea transit through the Strait for a period of 60 days.
According to the memorandum, the muslim Republic has developed a peculiar maritime way for ships crossing the narrow throat while informing against utilizing illegal routes.
However, the United States attempted to escort transit through the Strait via an illegal passage, which prompted the muslim Republic to close the corridor until Washington's interference with regional maritime traffic ceased.
THAAD, Patriot and C-RAM systems destroyed in IRGC attacks on U.S. base in Jordan
TEHERAN (Tasnim) – The muslim Revolutionary defender Corps (IRGC) announced the demolition of the U.S. THAAD, Patriot and C-RAM systems in fresh rocket attacks conducted by the IRGC Air-Space Force.
In a message issued on Thursday, IRGC besides referred to the burning of fuel tanks and the demolition of a large warehouse of equipment for helicopters and hangar for the maintenance and repair of helicopters at the American base in Jordan.
The message to the people of Jordan read: “Your IRGC brothers, as punishment for killing children by the American army and in consequence to repeated attacks in the muslim Republic of Iran, destroyed the radar of the U.S. THAAD rocket defence strategy with lightning strikes at American bases (in Jordan). The Patriot strategy and the C-RAM radar were besides attacked and destroyed, and fuel tanks in the U.S. base were set on fire."
It was added that a large warehouse of chopper equipment and hangar for maintenance and repair of helicopters was besides set on fire and destroyed.
"Sometimes it is said that Iran has breached independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty with its attacks, while specified judgement is completely erroneous. In our view, the independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty of your government are full respected," says the statement.
"What place is the American base in the country? Where, without the control of your border guards, the Americans and whoever they wish, sometimes prisoners from another countries enter and leave, there the discipline is determined by the American military guard, not by your military guard, the American justice ruling the crimes committed there, and not your judge, there is US law, not your law, and not only your military, even your defence minister has no right to enter without the approval of the American border guard?”
The IRGC message added: “So it was America that violated your territorial integrity and sovereignty, not us. We attack the land occupied by the American army. An army that knows only crimes.”
The following part of the message states: “Last night the mourned Minab residents buried the remains of their children discovered while searching for debris. 168 students died martyrdom on the first day of the war in the attack of the American army killing children (28 February 2026). These crimes continue, and any of them are committed utilizing American bases in Jordan. Our legal, spiritual and logical right is to attack an aggressor and execution our children from anywhere they attack. Thank you for your cooperation."
