The ultimate Court, in the composition of the combined Chambers, has adopted a groundbreaking resolution that may change the course of the dispute over the Polish justice system. According to the latest ruling, no court or public authority can consider the judgement of the ultimate Court to be non-existent – even by referring to the law of the European Union. At the same time, the ultimate Court stated that Poland had not transferred competences to Brussels in the field of judicial organization.
