The legal procedure for determining sex should be based on the rectification of the civilian position certificate - decided the civilian Chamber of the ultimate Court. The resolution stated that there are no arguments for the participation of the parents of a transsexual individual in specified a case. However, it was noted that a possible spouse of a transsexual individual may be a associate in the proceedings in this case. The question to the ultimate Court in this substance was submitted in September 2022 by the then Prosecutor General Zbigniew Ziobro.
