“The large Pole who has always stood on the side of Good against evil. Independent Poland was his top dream!" wrote Jan Kasprzyk on X, erstwhile Head of the Office for Combatants and Represented People.

Bogusław Nizieński, following the introduction of martial law, refused to lodge a declaration of loyalty and rejected the request to resign from “Solidarity” and was suspended and then dismissed from office in the ministry. He was subsequently transferred to the Faculty of Criminal and Revision of the Provincial Court in Warsaw. In 1985, he renounced his position as justice and began to work as legal counsel in a private company "Unikim".
He was re-appointed as a justice erstwhile the president of the “Solidarity” plant commission Adam Strzembosz took up the position of Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Justice. He called on judges who had resigned before to return to the ministry.
Bogusław Nizieński was appointed to the ultimate Court in 1990 and presided over the Second Division of the Criminal Chamber, which carried out rehabilitation of prisoners in the state of war and later. He retired in 1998.
In 1991 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. In 1998, president Aleksander Kwasniewski awarded it with the Commander's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for outstanding merits for the justice system.
In 1998, he was appointed to the position of Public Interest Ombudsman for Mirroring, which he held on 1 January 1999 and served for 6 years. He is the creator of the alleged "Nizieński List", which is simply a summary of SB's registered as secret co-workers for which no operational materials have been preserved in the IPN archive, as evidence in the process of vetting before the mirror court. He then retired.
In 2008, justice Bogusław Nizieński “in designation of the outstanding merits for the Republic of Poland, and in peculiar for democratic and free transformations of Poland, for state and public activities” at the hands of president Lech Kaczyński was awarded the Order of the White Eagle.
In 2016, he was appointed by the talker of the Sejm of Marek Kuchciński as a associate of the Expert Group on Constitutional Court Problems, who was given the task of addressing issues causing the crisis around the Constitutional Tribunal in 2015. He was a associate of the Semper Fidelis Award Chapter awarded by the Institute of National Memory.
