"Today I sent a letter to the president of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, in consequence to fresh words that, in my opinion, should never fall out of his mouth," he announced on platform X Adam Bodnar.
The Minister of Justice began by quoting Article 2 of the Constitution: "Rzeczpospolita Polska is simply a democratic legal state that implements the principles of social justice".
"It may be a surprise that the highest guardian of the Constitution of Poland mocks this basic systemic rule. He wonders that an educated lawyer – a doctor of law and a postgraduate of a renowned university – undermines the fundamental principles of judicial independence, confirmed by the judgments of the general courts, the ultimate Court, the ultimate Administrative Court, as well as the independent Constitutional Court," Bodnar wrote.
The President's words caused a storm. Minister of Justice reacts
President Andrzej Duda on Wednesday asked in an interview with the Jagiellonian Club, the Open Conservatory and the fresh Deal about the request to carry out a "reset" in the judiciary criticized part of the judge's environment, which, as he said, "tells after 1 of the parties to the political dispute".
He appealed to them to retaliate and reset them, because, as he said, without him, it would end with the fact that "all these people must be expelled from the judge's state, without the right to rest."
– Recently, 1 man said to me very brutally: “Do you know why there is so much betrayal and brazenness in Poland? due to the fact that no 1 has been hanged for treason.” “It’s terrible, but the fact is in these words,” said president Duda.
