Officers of the Customs and taxation Service from Podkarpacie detected an effort to illegally import 3 gold bars into Polish with a full value of approx. PLN 1.5 million. The metal, hidden under her clothes, was transported by a Ukrainian citizen. A key function in detecting the smuggling was played by a scanner for checking people.
