35-page survey entitled "Why young voters did not vote for Rafał Trzaskowski in the 2025 presidential election" was prepared by Dr. Jarosław Szczepański – a political scientist, legal advisor and vice president of the Good Government for Programs Foundation. The president of the Foundation is MP Przemysław Wipler, and the head of the Programme Council Sławomir Mentzen, erstwhile Confederate presidential candidate.
The paper has not yet been published. According to the "Rzeczpospolita" information, it is to be distributed internally, including in the newsletter to Confederate activists.
After she was separated from the young. "Trzaskowski's program did not convince young people"
The study shows that the top problem of the Civic Coalition was the inability to scope young people. According to the authors, Trzaskowski did not respond to the key needs of the young generation – specified as the availability of housing, stableness of employment or individual freedom. It was besides pointed out that there were no concrete proposals for real property prices or support in purchasing the first apartment.
According to the report, the PO candidate was to direct his message mainly to the residents of large cities aged 40–49, which only deepened the distance to young people. In addition, the coalition was to neglect to meet its promise to rise the tax-free amount, which was besides remembered.
The study besides spares no individual comments. The authors propose that the very image of Rafał Trzaskowski – as a well-read and knowledgeable politician – no longer works on young people who supposedly do not have complexes of erstwhile generations. It was simply written that the Civic Platform is present a "party of demeanors and grandfathers", not fitting to the reality of the young electorate. An example is given, among others, "comparating nicotine sachets to amphetamine".
KO is no longer a threat to the Confederacy
The study besides shows that the Civic Coalition has ceased to be the biggest threat to the Confederacy in the fight for a young voter. Today, it is the Law and Justice Office – especially after its image has been refreshed, including by President-elect Karol Nawrocki – which can be a bigger competitor in this field.
"Rzeczpospolita" notes that in places the study clearly exalts Sławomir Mentzen's run – which may propose a deficiency of complete distance towards the phenomena described. However, any observations coincide with post-election analyses outside the Confederacy environment, including the centre and leftist environments.
