The Russians are gathering forces in the Bakhmut area

Russian forces want to strengthen their tactical offensive operations in the Bakhmut region in east Ukraine, the American Institute for War Studies (ISW) writes in the latest analysis. Ukrainian troops are concentrated there on local counterattacks.
