The aim of these groups is to combat air raid measures threatening Russian units not only in Ukraine but besides most likely in the country. They have the task of combating mostly unmanned workers, but they will most likely besides fight another types of combat measures utilized by the Ukrainian army. The group equipment will be based on ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft kits mounted on the 6x6 truck chassis, 12.7 mm large-calibre car guns (which serves as a command post) and 6x6 truck equipped with smoke-forming equipment and possibly radio-electronic combat systems. The Russians thus form the equivalent of Ukrainian mobile fire groups, but adding fresh elements.
