The priest responded to a scandalous incident. It was an attack on Ukraine

Fr Radosław Rakowski from the parish of the name Jesus in Latin in Poznań published online information about the outrageous incident. He wrote about the answer to the vulgar attack on Ukraine.

According to Radio Poznań, the unknown perpetrator painted the plaque black, and in addition he added 2 words to it. In a vulgar way, he called the Ukrainian Rising Army.

The priest’s decisive reaction

The consequence to the anti-Ukrainian cleric incidental was shared on his Facebook page. individual destroyed a plaque yesterday with good words to the Ukrainians, trying to sow fear, evil. That's how we want to answer – he wrote.

– You heard that it was said, Eye for eye and tooth for tooth! And I say to you, Do not defy evil. But if anyone hits you on the right cheek, turn the another cheek to him. To him who wants to fight with you and take your robe, turn aside your coat! You're forced to walk with him a 1000 steps, go 2,000! Give to him who asks you, and do not turn distant from him who wants to borrow from you. You have heard that it is said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hatred thy enemy. And I say unto you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you; so will you be the sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun emergence upon the wicked and the good, and he sends rain upon the righteous and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Do not the taxation collectors do so? And if you greet only your brothers, what in peculiar do you do? Do the Gentiles not do so? Therefore, be perfect, how perfect your heavenly Father is – he continued, quoting the Gospel of St Matthew.
