
After a nine-year break to the Civic Platform, the erstwhile Deputy talker of the Sejm and the activist of the democratic opposition returned Stefan Niesiołowski. Together with erstwhile Deputy Minister of Treasury Józef Woźniakowski, he joined the recently created PO Łódź Centre led by the councillor of the Łódź Seymik Hanna Gill-Friday.

Stefan Niesiołowski's departure from PO
Stefan Niesiolowski retired from PO in 2016. He spoke of the reasons for specified a decision at the time in the “Guest of Events”. In his opinion, the then organization president Grzegorz Schetyna did not follow democratic procedures.
