The Hungarian-Russian Paks atomic project: a fresh breach in Western sanctions.

In fresh weeks, Hungarian authorities announced that abroad partners had lifted any restrictions on the Paks II atomic power plant project, which they are implementing with Russia. On June 3, Minister of abroad Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó announced that Siemens Energy would be able to supply parts for the plant by establishing a subsidiary in Hungary, despite the erstwhile German government's refusal to do so.
