The Altmark region in northern Saxony-Anhalt has become 1 of the most crucial discoveries for the future of the European economy. Neptune Energy confirmed the uncovering of lithium deposits with estimated resources of 43 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent – 1 of the largest deposits of this natural material in the world.
