Proaborative environments open in Warsaw the alleged "abortion clinic", right next to the Polish parliament. The authoritative beginning was March 8th, Women's Day. The initiative is simply a political manifesto aimed at protecting life and at the same time an effort to normalize abortion against the applicable law.
Opening against regulations?
Deputy Minister of Climate Urszula Zielińska informed about the establishment of the facility, which triumphantly announced in social media:
"The first abortion clinic in Poland opened!".
Zielińska besides did not hide the satisfaction of the fact that the clinic was created other the Sejm, where MPs pass by the building all day.
"Politicians failed to deliver, so girls took matters into their own hands and now all conservative-radical MP will have the chance to learn about abortion of everything because... the clinic is right in front of the Sejm," she added.
Behind the AboTak facility are the abortion activists Dream Teamu, an organization for years seeking liberalisation of regulations and promoting the alleged "home abortion" utilizing abortive means. The facility is located at 9 Wiejska Street, virtually a fewer steps from the Parliament building.
When they deficiency support, they scope for provocation
Opening this clinic isn't random. Following the parliamentary elections, Donald Tusk and his organization promised to legalize abortion by Week 12. However, the bill was rejected by the Sejm – not only by the voices of the Law and the Confederation, but besides by many PSL MPs and any of the politicians of the Civic Coalition. This has shown that even among the rulers there is no agreement to extremist changes in the law.
Despite the deficiency of legalisation of abortion at the statutory level, Prime Minister Tusk has taken action to circumvent the rules.
"If we cannot open this gate at the minute due to the deficiency of majority in the Sejm, we open the gates," he said in August 2023. It is in this context that government "guidelines" have been created for doctors to guarantee that the prosecution does not prosecute abortion.
Cynical usage of Women
Opening a clinic not only violates the regulations, but besides constitutes a cynical political act. Article 152 of the Criminal Code clearly states: “Who, with the consent of a woman, interrupts her pregnancy in violation of the provisions of the Act, is subject to imprisonment until the age of 3.”
Nevertheless, pro-abortion environments celebrate the beginning of clinics alternatively of supporting solutions that truly aid women in hard situations – e.g. the improvement of perinatal hospices, intellectual assistance or support for mothers in crisis. Abortion is neither "law" nor "freedom of choice" – it is simply a tragedy in which an innocent kid is always killed.
Will the Polish State let law to be broken in broad daylight in the heart of the capital? Will the beginning of this clinic be the beginning of the abortion offensive in Poland? The pro-life environment does not intend to stay silent about this situation.
