The abolition of the RTV subscription, the financing of TVP and Polish Radio from the state budget, the liquidation of the National Media Council and the introduction of a warrant of apoliticalness of public media authorities – these are the main assumptions of the draft amendment of the media law presented by the Minister of Culture Marta Cienkowska. The paper goes to public consultation. The head of KRRiT Agnieszka Glapiak has already expressed her reservations, accusing the ministry of deficiency of consultation and organisational chaos.
