The German Euro MP has outraged Polish politicians, especially right-wing politicians, with his message connected with Karol Nawrocki. In his opinion, the words of the future president of Poland propose that "he intends to block reforms that are essential to gain access to EU funds". According to the policy, this was a mistake that the EU agreed to de-freeze EU funds for the Tusk Government, even before reforms on the regulation of law were carried out.
