The dispute over whether Poland will survive

...The effects of these elections will yet affect us all, through the powers assigned to the office of president of Poland. These competences are contrary to appearances so broad that they can influence political and social life in Poland. If there is no longer a brake, in the form of an effective veto of the President, which at least allows to limit the systemic madness which the ruling authorities call a fighting democracy, then where will the dam of this conflict be placed? What will be its limits and who will set them? Poles must consider this in their minds and hearts. Let's usage this Christmas time sequence. It's the large Week and the large Night. This is simply a good time to reflect, to think about serious matters concerning our future.
