Marek Mikołajczyk, writer of the "Journal of Legal Newspapers" revealed on platform X that Magdalena Chodowicz, a writer who became more widely known after her close relation with Paweł Rubcow, a Russian spy operating for the GRU, was invited to press conferences of the Ministry of Justice.
Paweł Rubcow, acting in Poland as writer Pablo Gonzalez, was arrested on 27 February 2022 by the Polish authorities close the border with Ukraine and then accused of being a Russian spy. However, as part of an exchange of Western prisoners with Russia, he was released from custody on 1 August 2024 and flew to Moscow, where Vladimir Putin personally greeted him. Rubcowa's partner in Poland was writer Magdalena Chodowicz. Apparently, however, this case did not compromise it in the eyes of the current authorities of the Polish Ministry of Justice.
