“The Polish-American Alliance has never been as strong as it is now,” said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish during a joint press conference with the American Secretary of Defense.
Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that during the talks “in private” politicians raised the subject NATO alliance and Poland and the USA.
– The Polish-American Alliance was never as strong as it is now. We can do anything to make it more overnight. That's what we agreed. For joint investments, common safety guarantees, expanding their capabilities," stressed Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that Poland understood very well that "Europe must show its contribution" to security. “We realize this very well and we do this”, he pointed out, reminding Polish military missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. The politician besides thanked for the presence of American soldiers on the Vistula River.
– Come on in. You're always here. You're just like home. This is how you will always be treated, due to the fact that it is simply a large privilege and large pleasance for us," Kosiniak-Kamish emphasized.
The Deputy Prime Minister besides announced the improvement of Polish-American joint venture initiatives. He besides said that the United States is reviewing their spending on activities and support for allies, but the restrictions will not apply to the abroad Military Financing fund, which is utilized by the Polish army.
