Deputy Prime Minister, National Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced on Thursday that on 22 November the pilotage of the programme will begin general defence training "in readiness", addressed to all curious Polish citizens. The program was prepared by MON and the General Staff of the Polish Army. Within this framework, training was planned as part of 2 paths - "resistance", in which training was organized to deal with crisis situations, first aid or survival, and "reservations" which presume strict military training.

Programme to be implemented by 132 units based primarily on the Territorial Defence Army with the participation of the Operations Command of Types of Armed Forces. By the end of the year, the Ministry of Defence plans to train 100,000 people, and next year - 400,000 in various paths - individually, grouply, under the "Education with the Army" programme, as part of reserve training and voluntary essential military service.

Path "resistance" - as the Chief of the General Staff of the HR said General Wiesław Kukuła - is dedicated to those who do not intend to associate in any way with the armed forces. As he pointed out, this is simply a proposal for all citizens who have not previously had contact with the military, but who want to learn how to respond in crisis situations and to increase their sense of security.
