Increase the safety of water production and distribution, improve IT systems, practice hazard scenarios, training for 350 employees – plans the Waterworks Plant
and Sewerage in Szczecin.
On Tuesday, Szczeciński ZwiK informed about the signing of a task contract to strengthen the resilience of water supply infrastructure to digital threats.
1 million PLN 165 1000 for this intent was awarded from the “Cybersafe Waterworks” competition financed from the National Recovery Plan and implemented by the Digital Projects Centre in cooperation with NASK.
– Hack attacks are no longer just a screenplay of discipline fiction film, but real threats that disorganize and destabilise the institution’s activities or
companies – said the press spokesperson for the city company
ZWK Hanna Pieczyńska.
– The most crucial nonsubjective of the task is to guarantee further unchangeable residents of Szczecin
and safe water supply," she stressed.
