"What did China do after the kidnapping of Venezuelan president and his wife and threats to Europe and Iran?"
autor: Kurt Grotsch
.
China powerfully condemned the abduction and violation of Venezuela's sovereignty. Without making large gestures, la Trump or Macron took a number of actions, recognizing that the United States had defined control of Venezuelan oil as a way to limit China's presence in South America and slow down their continuous development.
Without empty statements by Trump and Macron, China took a number of concrete actions, recognising that the United States had made control of Venezuelan oil a way to limit China's presence in South America and hinder their fast and unstoppable development.
China has taken action straight on the pillar of the American Empire, as the attack on Venezuela is tantamount to the declaration of war by a multipolar planet order and the BRICS countries.
Just a fewer hours after the announcement of president Nicolás Maduro's kidnapping, president Xi Jinping convened an extraordinary gathering of the Permanent Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party, which lasted precisely 120 minutes. No authoritative message was issued, no diplomatic threat was made; it was silence before the storm. This session launched what the Chinese strategists call a "global asymmetrical response" to any aggression directed against Chinese partners in the Western hemisphere. Venezuela is simply a pinhead of China in Latin America, in the heart of the United States' sphere of influence.
The first phase of China's retaliatory consequence began on 4 January at 9:15, erstwhile the People's Bank of China discreetly announced the temporary suspension of all US dollar transactions with companies associated with the US defence sector. Therefore, all transactions with Chinese companies specified as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and General Dynamics were frozen without prior warning.

On the same day at 11:43 p.m., the Chinese company State Grid Corporation, which operates the world's largest electricity network, announced a thorough method review of all its contracts with US electrical equipment suppliers, clearly signaling China's intention to get free of American technology.
At 14:17 China National Petroleum corp (CNPC), the largest state-owned oil company in the world, announced a strategical reorganization of its global supply routes. This meant reactivation of Chinese "energy weapons" and cancellation of oil supply contracts for US refineries worth $47 billion.
Oil originally destined for the east coast of the United States was diverted to India, Brazil, South Africa and another confederate countries. This measurement led to a 23% increase in oil prices in 1 stock marketplace day.
But above all, there was a clear strategical message: China is able to paralyze the supply of energy to the United States without having to fire a single shot.
In addition, China Ocean Shipping Company, which controls around 40% of global shipping capacity, carried out what it described as the “optimization of operating routes”.
At the same time, China Ocean Shipping Company (COSC), which controls around 40% of the world's sea cargo capacity, has carried out an “operational optimisation of its transport ships”.
As a result, Chinese ships began to bypass American ports specified as Long Beach, Los Angeles, fresh York and Miami. These ports, which are heavy dependent on Chinese maritime logistics in terms of maintaining their supply chains, abruptly found themselves without 35% of average container traffic. This was a disaster for large companies specified as Walmart, Amazon and Target, which trust on Chinese ships to import products produced in China to US ports due to the fact that their supply chains partially collapsed within a fewer hours.
During these events, the top attention was drawn to their synchronicity, which caused a chain reaction importantly exacerbating the economical impact.
It was not a gradual escalation, but a systemic shock that was intended to paralyze the ability of the United States to react.
The U.S. government barely started dealing with this blow erstwhile China launched a fresh series of measures: the mobilisation of the countries of the South. At 4:22 a.m. on 4 January, China's abroad Minister Wang Yi proposed Brazil, India, South Africa, Iran, Turkey, Indonesia and 23 another countries immediate preferential trading conditions for all states that will publically undertake not to recognise any Venezuelan government that has come to power with the support or intervention of the United States.
In little than 24 hours, 19 countries accepted the offer, Brazil being the first, followed by India, South Africa and Mexico. Thus the concept of “de facto multipolar world” materialized.

China immediately managed to form an anti-American coalition, utilizing economical incentives.
The last act took place on January 5, erstwhile Beijing activated its financial weapons. The Chinese interbank cross-border payment strategy announced an extension of its operational capacity to handle all global transactions that aim to bypass Washington-controlled SWIFT system. China has so offered the planet a complete and effective alternate to the Western financial system. Any country, company or bank that wanted to trade without dependence on American financial infrastructure could now usage a Chinese strategy that was 97% cheaper and faster.
The reaction was immediate and huge: in the first 48 hours of operation transactions of $89 billion were processed and the central banks of 34 countries opened operational accounts in the Chinese system, which accelerated the departure from the dollar as 1 of the main sources of US funding.
In the field of technology, China, which controls 60% of the world's production of uncommon earth elements – essential for the semiconductor manufacture and electronic components, has announced temporary restrictions on exports of these minerals to all countries that supported the overthrow of president Nicolás Maduro. This decision raised serious concerns for American technological giants specified as Apple, Microsoft, Google and Intel, whose key components depend on Chinese supply chains. Their production systems are presently at hazard of collapse in a fewer weeks.
Every Chinese initiative is simply a direct blow to the economical heart of the American empire.
“What have China done for Venezuela?” both friends and enemies ask. The answer is clear: without declaring war, China is acting, influencing and shaping a fresh reality.
