Sunday of Ukrainian Settlement in Warsaw

On 9 July, respective 100 people gathered in front of the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw as part of the Ukrainian Settlement Sunday, an action organized by the Front organization Krzysztof Tołwiński in cooperation with another organizations, including representatives of the Polish thought Clubs.

The event was aimed at commemorating victims of genocide made by Ukrainian nationalists from the CNS / UPA on the population, especially Polish, Volyn and east Małopolska.

Enough guns!

“It was genocide and cultural cleansing” – reminded Krzysztof Tołwiński. “We give money, we supply weapons. Look, would anyone in the 21st century think that the planet was so crazy and everyone just bids on how many weapons they're gonna produce? The Americans, the Germans, the others too, clamp their hands and cut the money. And we'll arm ourselves. Who are we gonna fight? Alone against each other?” – he continued. He besides highlighted the dangers of arms proliferation and the brutality of those with frontal experience. Therefore, in his opinion, the transportation of arms through Poland to Ukraine should be stopped immediately.

That's what he said. Wojciech Mojzesovich, who stated that the war would have ended within a week if Poland had resigned its function as a transit country for the Western. Wacław Klukowski He stressed, in turn, that the conflict in Ukraine is not beneficial from the point of view of the interests of Polish, but besides of Ukrainian agriculture, which is devoted to transnational corporations.

A €75 billion bill

Among others, they participated in the picket. Wojciech Kornowski Head of the United Over Division Group, Henry Miketyn and Vladimir Gorki from the Polish Left Movement, Andrzej Poneta from the Watah of the Civic Voice, Roland Dubowski from the planet War II Commanders' Association, Peter Panasiuk from the Polish Anti-War Movement, as well as agricultural activists and trade unions – erstwhile Minister of Agriculture Wojciech Mojzesowicz, president of the Association of Circles and Agricultural Organisations Władysław Serafin and erstwhile MP Wacław Klukowski. Polish thought Clubs were represented by Matthew Piskorski, Łukasz Jastrzębski and Bartholomew Doborzyński.

The events failed to disrupt a group of aggressive Ukrainian provokers, clearly coordinating their actions with the Ukrainian embassy. Gathered in front of the building, they placed shoes symbolizing the victims of the Volyn genocide. They besides submitted a bill of 75 billion euros – they calculated Kiev's debts to Poland from various titles. They sent a letter to the Ukrainian authorities via the embassy with demands to justice and condemn flagism and contemporary references to this ideology.
