President Karol Nawrocki took part in the celebrations of the Polish Army on Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately, there was no accident. The president scored it erstwhile the Polish anthem sounded.


Let us remind you: on Thursday president Karol Nawrocki attended the Memorial Appeal organized on the eve of the Polish Army holiday. During the ceremony, he laid a wreath before the Monument of the Fallen in 1920.

However, the President's speech was not without controversy – experts pointed out that he had broken the basic principles of the protocol.

"Please tell the President's Chancellery that it is impossible to stand apart during the performance of the national anthem, to receive a study from the commander of the honorary company (and at all times all soldier's report) and to greet with the flag mail" - wrote General Stanisław Koziej on the X site.

This is what Janusz Sibora, an expert in diplomatic protocol, pointed out. "Mr General, thank you for this entry. This is important. The military ceremony and another papers tell precisely what attitude to take reports, and I will not even mention the anthem. I know countries where the president is undergoing training from diplomatic protocol after taking office," the expert pointed out.



As for August 15, during the celebration of the Polish Army Karol Nawrocki gave a speech, among others. In the process, he abruptly addressed Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

– We must, together with the government, with the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, thin over the strategic, essential papers of the national safety strategy. The only emotion that will be in these documents, let the emotion of the Polish state's right – said the President.

He then made a clear appeal. – I will request that the talks be finished and that a decision be made to allocate 5% of Polish GDP to defence. This has to happen and it has to happen as shortly as possible. Polish safety requires this present – he announced.

Nawrocki addressed the head of the government with a proposal to make a safety strategy of Poland, in which it will be "a clear message of defence all centimeter and a part of Polish land, due to the fact that Poland is 1 and the Vistula line is not its border".

– Building unity I will build around the Constitution of safety of the Republic of Poland. I will encourage the Prime Minister to sign a suprapolitical commitment on this matter," he said. The president besides announced that he intends to support efforts to make the Polish army and increase Poland's security.
