The forthcoming European Council in Brussels, dominated by the themes of Ukraine's war, sanctions and defence, could be a strategical success for Warsaw. Poland is gaining a stronger position in EU documents, and its key safety demands are reflected in the draft conclusions. Warsaw seeks to consolidate in the EU records the issue of the defence of the east flank and the designation of drone systems as "flag projects" of the Community.
