The Confederation's press conference in Warsaw under the seat of the European Union Delegation. The conference was attended by associate Witold Tumanowicz and representatives of the transport industry, Rafał Mekler and Jacek Sokół. They are at the same time leaders of the protest of carriers, which on the Polish-Ukrainian border has been moving since 6 November.
Witold Tumanovich:
– For many days now, there has been a protest of the transport industry, which accounts for 6% of Polish GDP. The Polish government struck the back of this manufacture by allowing and agreeing to unfair competition from Ukraine. The European Union has introduced the draconian Mobility Package and our carriers must meet the standards set out in this package. On the another hand, overnight it has been brought to the conclusion that from outside the east border the entrepreneurs, the carriers of these forced standards, do not gotta comply. This led to a serious crisis in the Polish transport industry. Reduce the share of Polish companies in the transport market. We have intervened as a Confederate before. But now there's a real situation.

Rafał Mekler (carrier, Confederate policies):

– I hear almost a twelve times a day that I'm a Kremlin agent for a ruble. That I'm an agent of Moscow. The only country I am an agent is Poland.
And it doesn't substance whether Ukraine, Russia or Belarus, or any another country, I am Polish, I have Polish responsibilities.
– Why is there specified a large noise? Why is there specified a stir? Why do we hear about pressures from the European Union, penalties, etc.? They will have a problem in the European Union, due to the fact that we are not the only ones they will gotta punish. I had the pleasance of being at a protest yesterday, so far a warning, on the Ukrainian-Slovak border. The Slovak carriers have spoken to us that they share our views and concerns. They are besides affected by the consequences of this policy.
– We're not Kremlin agents. The screaming, the fuss is only due to the fact that We stand across from the interests of oligarchs from Brussels and oligarchs from Ukraine. We cannot let Poland to be an object in this game.
