According to the National Prosecutor's Office, the indictment was directed to the territory Court of Szczecin. It concerns 3 people: Michał C., Józef K. and Andrzej Sz., who are accused of exceeding their rights through the fictitious employment of Dariusz Matecki at the Information Centre of State Forests and the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Szczecin.
Dariusz Matecki, PiS MP, heard the charges in early March this year. In total, this is six charges, including 4 related to misappropriation of property from the Justice Fund. The allegations besides concern cooperation with the Directors of State Forests with the fictional and apparent employment of Matecki between June 2020 and October 2023.
According to the data, Matecki received benefits from this in the full amount of PLN 483,860, although the work was not to be done and was not actually performed. Matecki spent about 2 months in custody and described this period as a ‘extractive detention’, claiming he was a political prisoner.
The National Prosecutor's Office informed that, in connection with the Justice Fund case, by mid-August, indictments should be brought to the court in connection with the acquisition of the Pegasus strategy and the employment of Matecki in the State Forests. another threads relating to the Justice Fund are inactive being investigated.
