The gathering of leaders was mostly devoted to the current bilateral issues. Joint infrastructure projects, including energy related projects, were discussed. Through their implementation, we can increase our capacity and competitiveness. The head of the Polish government besides thanked president Pavl for his Czech commitment to safety in our region.

Poland and the Czech Republic frequently cooperate internationally. We have many things in common and we present a common voice in Central Europe. We are pleased that our region is very coherent and active on key European issues – we are counting on further intensive cooperation with countries close to us, including the Czech Republic.

Russian aggression on Ukraine continues, and the fight for freedom requires our commitment

Poland and the Czech Republic know that Russian aggression on Ukraine is inactive ongoing and carries with it effects felt worldwide. This is simply a challenge we face – we strengthen the safety of our region and support Ukraine in the fight for freedom. Our countries have a clear position on this.

– It is large to have a typical of a country who thinks like us towards all the challenges we face, especially the Russian aggression in Ukraine, as well as the consequences of this conflict – inflation, the energy crisis, but besides the macroeconomic crisis that surrounds us – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
