At the end of the office, president Andrzej Duda's office paid 268 employees a full of PLN 700,000. Karol Nawrocki's press office told “Fact” that the lowest prize was PLN 600 and the largest PLN 4.4 thousand.
The funds have been paid from the prize fund, which under the law is awarded to workers with peculiar achievements in public entities specified as courts or prosecutors. This budget amounts to 3% of planned salary.
According to “Fact”, last year the fund did not pay up to PLN 3 million, and all funds were allocated to combat the effects of floods in Lower Silesia. The payout was besides halted at the summit of the COVID-19 pandemic.
