Almost 69 percent of Poles believe that alcohol in our country is besides easy available - according to the latest IBRiS poll for "Rzeczpospolita". This is simply a crucial signal of public concern about the availability of alcoholic beverages.
In the study, 41.5 percent of respondents responded "agreely yes", and another 27.1% chose the answer "perhaps yes". The other opinion was 21.4 percent of respondents who felt that alcohol was not easy available, and 2.9 percent of those who believed it was definitely not.
Generational differences in evaluations
The top concerns about the availability of alcohol are expressed by Poles aged 50-59 - as much as 85 percent of this group considers that alcohol is besides easy available. According to "Rzeczpospolita", this is the highest score of all age groups studied.
The least critical of the availability of alcohol are young people aged 18-29 - only 45 percent of them think that alcohol is besides easy available. This difference is as much as 40 percent points compared to the oldest group.
Political divisions in evaluations
The majority of voters of the civilian Coalition and Law and Justice expressed the belief that alcohol was far besides much available. At the other pole there were Confederate sympathizers who shared specified opinions the least.
7.1 percent of those surveyed could not find their position on the matter. The survey was conducted by CATI method on 26-27 September on a typical example of 1073 respondents.
Record availability of alcohol
Data from the end of 2023 show the scale of alcohol availability in Poland. At that time, a single store selling interest drinks accounted for 303 residents of the country.
For an average wage Pole could buy 2103 bottles of beer, 313 bottles of wine and 238 bottles of vodka. According to "Rzeczpospolita", these are evidence values in Polish history.
