During the Saturday press conference, Żaneta Cwalina-Ślowska said that "it was not the kind of Poland 2050 that she agreed to". Thus, the MP announced that she would say goodbye to the party, but would stay at her parmentary club until March 21. This is simply a consequence to a resolution adopted on Saturday by the Polish National Council 2050, which for a period suspends personnel changes in the group.
Żaneta Cwalina-Ślewska leaves Poland 2050. Reason for a loud resolution
Polsat News reported that the MP described the act as "a muzzle audible". – For it closes the mouth of parliamentarians who have a different opinion, who would like to sit according to the Rules of Procedure; who would like the parliamentary club to operate," she said.
– Today, it is all concreteized by a resolution which was taken by a majority of 1 vote – explained Cwalina-Ślowska, stressing that she has doubts about the vote mentioned. She added: "It was blocked to dig into the National Council for missing vacancyes of 2 people, which immediately shows you what the situation would be like if these vacancyes were filled."
– I think that my resignation will not be the first resignation of this kind – signed bitterly Zaneta Cwalina-Ślewska.
Let us remind that on 31 January the 2nd circular of elections for the fresh head of Poland 2050 took place. Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, who received 350 votes, became president of the group after the votes were calculated by the State Election Commission. Let us add that 309 people voted for her competitor, Paulina Hennig-Kloska.
Recently, at a closed gathering of the Members' Club, a request was made for the cancellation of Paweł Sliza from the position of head of the club. The paper included 10 signatures (later 18 parliamentarians were informed), but no vote was taken because, according to Onetu's findings, Sliz exercised his powers and closed the meeting, interrupting the discussion.
