This is simply a regulation that has been in force in Poland for respective decades. If the pensioner suffered from an mistake of ZUS, the correction of the mistake of ZUS takes place in a rigid period of 3 years backwards. This is only 3 years even erstwhile the mistake covers a period of 15 years.
